I’m a self-taught oil painter, observer of details, and visual storyteller. I create photorealistic portraits, animals, and landscapes that invite reflection, healing, and connection. But more than that, I paint to feel, slow down, heal, and reconnect with the beauty that is so often overlooked.

Wildlife teaches careful observation. Before I paint, I spend time noting the way light lands across feathers, the subtle colors hidden within fur, and the quiet expressions that often go unseen. The more I look, the more I discover. As I take in the details of the animals I am painting, I am reminded about my own attention, patience, presence, curiosity, and instinct.
Learning to See
Nature has a way of slowing us down and reminding us that we are part of something far greater than ourselves. In its vastness, we find perspective. In its quiet moments, we rediscover wonder.
Places in nature, ask nothing of us. Standing in the middle of a poppy field or on a golf course, we aren’t measured by our accomplishments or distracted by the noise of everyday life. We are simply invited to be present. Nature moves through seasons with quiet confidence. Nature shows off its beauty in both wild places and carefully tended ones.
Some of these landscapes are inspired by real places, while others are shaped by memory and imagination. I’m not trying to recreate every tree or cloud exactly as I found it; I’m trying to preserve the feeling of being there; the peace, the wonder, the quiet awe that comes from standing in the presence of something bigger than myself.
